What are the filter layers made of?

Reindeer Lichen – The green material you see at the top is a naturally grown, ethically harvested inorganic material which is renowned for its innate ability to trap particles in its structure. This layer will comfortably take out PM10 sized particles like pollen and other allergens.

Coconut Coir – Taken from waste coconut product and re-purposed into a fantastic filtration fibre, this dense mesh targets particles down to PM5 in size, including bacteria and mould.

Silk Matrix Filter – Created bespoke for the Briiv Air Filter working in the core of the machine, this layer combines Activated Carbon nanofibre bonded with a fine silk-based protein web which can trap matter down to the PM2.5 range, which includes harmful fine dust, VOC’s and large viruses.

Made To Order: Allow 2-4 weeks for delivery, each part of Briiv, from the plastics to the filter is grown and harvested, sustainably by hand.
