When given a choice between something that has been churned out by a machine in a factory and something that was beautifully crafted in someone’s garage, more consumers are opting for the latter. Every choice we make with regards to how we exercise our buying power, makes a difference.
The link between physical, mental and emotional wellbeing is becoming clearer. With the move to cleaner living and mindfulness, we’ve seen a pivot towards a detox movement that affects all categories of life. Detoxing takes many forms from eating healthier, and meditating, to uncluttering your space and choosing house decor items that stimulate good moods.
Our shipping system is carbon negative, which means that getting your products to you does not cost the planet or its people in any way. Carbon negativity is earth positivity.
The stories behind the brands that we feature, matter to us and we know they matter to you. We tell these stories via #PlainTiger_Spotlight, providing deep insights into the inspiration behind the work that our independent fashion designers and artisans produce as well as their production methods and their commitment to our conscious criteria.
Made to order fashion is also slower to produce and is therefore more environmentally sustainable, causing less wastage and avoiding over-production. As a movement, made to order promotes a culture of quality where people come to appreciate and cherish their garments as heirlooms rather than just seasonable pieces that quickly go out of fashion.
